Welcome! The Katbird Shop is located in downtown Schenectady, just a short walk from City Hall, Jay Street, and Proctors Theatre.
We are two shops in one: the main room of The Katbird Shop features the new - fine American art & crafts. The backrooms and basement house the old - 8 rooms of antiques & collectibles.
History buffs will enjoy visiting The Katbird Shop; Chester Arthur, the 21st president of the United States, is said to have lived here before he attended Union College.
Classes starting soon! We will be holding crocheting and drawing/painting classes, please call or stop by for details.
Third Friday We are a part of Third Friday - and will be open til 9 the third Friday of every month.
